What it is
A place for a manager to prepare for a 1:1, remember what matters to a person, keep track of what each side owes the other, and run a better meeting. It is bought by that manager, about their own practice.
Drive My Path is a preparation tool for a manager, not the employer's system of record. What it produces is a draft the manager copies into whatever system their employer actually uses.
What it refuses to be
- No ratings, rankings, tiers or scores of a person, by number or by letter.
- No automated decisions, or suggestions, about anyone’s pay, promotion or continued employment.
- No discipline or termination paperwork.
- No health or medical information about anyone, anywhere, including free text.
- No recording without the recorded person’s own agreement, from their own inbox.
- No training of any AI model on your notes.
Each of these is a written rule that decides what gets built, not a marketing line. When a feature would evaluate a person for someone else to act on, it is out.
Why it exists
The recurring failure in managing people is rarely caring. It is memory. Good managers forget what they promised, lose the thread between conversations, and end the year reconstructing twelve months of someone’s work from a calendar.
Drive My Path keeps the thread: prepare the conversation, remember what you owe, and let the year’s record be there when the review form opens.

JBran LLC is a software development and design company founded by Jesse Branson. Drive My Path is one of its products, and it is built by the person who also has to manage people: Jesse has led customer success and sales teams and run the 1:1s that come with them, which is where the product’s questions come from.
How the site treats you. First-party analytics only, with no third-party scripts, no advertising and no selling of data. What is measured and for how long is on the security page.
Accessibility. We target and test against WCAG 2.2 Level AA, and say what is not there yet on the accessibility page.

Is Drive My Path an HR system?
No. It is a preparation tool for one manager, about their own practice.
