Guides
For managers who were never shown how.
Practical guidance on the parts of managing people that nobody trains you for: the review you have to write, the notes you should and should not keep, how often to meet, the conversation you are dreading.
The guides
How to write a performance review when you cannot remember Q1
Reconstruct the year from your calendar, the work, your messages and their self-review before you write a word; sort it into outcomes, behaviour, growth and gaps; attach evidence and dates.
How these are written
The editorial standard
Written from experience
Every guide is written by Jesse Branson, from years of running the meetings it describes, and carries the author's name.
Dated, and kept current
Each guide shows when it was published and when it was last reviewed. If the product or the advice changes, the guide changes and the date moves.
No claims we cannot back
We make no claims about retention, engagement or performance outcomes, because we have no evidence for them. Where a guide cites an outside fact, it names the source.
The method works without the product
Each guide is complete on its own and says where Drive My Path fits, in one paragraph, at the end. The coaching questions themselves live inside the product.
